Sarah had a strong understanding of the principals and elements of design and was able to articulate that in her presentation. Her understanding of the controls of the camera was evident in her work and she was able to describe how she achieved each effect in relation to her understanding of the controls. She explained how she was able to manipulate the controls of her camera to achieve the lighting necessary in the twilight images to make them interesting. It was a universal theme that the twilight lighting was the most difficult to work with because of how dark it was and Sarah made a connection to her audience about this.
