  1. Really liked your 5 characteristics, direction was represented very good! We liked the use of the intesity that you displayed, and the multiple ranges of composition. When it comes to temperature I definitely would try and play with the composition with that one too. It felt too repetitive seeing the same image with many color ranges. Contrast was very good as well and enjoyed your creativity, Hardness is looking good too, but you forgot to note which lights had the diffusing cloth over it.

  2. Overall the techniques you used to take the photos were very good! You seem to understand the different parts of the project well and in particular direction position number 5, your first temperature picture, and your first contrast photo stand out. Your position ones we think are the most creative as the composition of the bottles are constantly being changed. The advice we would give you would be to switch up the composition for some of the photos, because the placement of the bottles seems redundant at times, particularly your 3rd and 4th hardness photo look exactly the same, the light placement was the only difference. Also the temperature photos looked really nice, although they faced the same issue with the composition. The first picture in the contrast one is another photo of yours that stands out. The shadows being captured on the bottles and the light to dark ratio within the picture is a nice touch. We would also suggest considering the composition again in terms of trying to make the pictures clear as possible. In particular for your position photo one, the top of the bottle that is laying down in the picture is blurry compared to the rest of the bottles in the picture; Its reminiscent of catching a thumb in a picture. But with the position photo number two, you have the same idea but the bottle on the ground is turned a different way and makes it feel like it actually belongs in the picture. But overall great work! We think that you excel in creativity and that if you focused on changing up the composition of the photos more so that there is more diversity between the photos that it could be even better! - Maya Bush, Sierra Sandoval, Jay Ramos

  3. The direction photos were very descriptive, it was easy to tell where the key light was coming from. The temperature photos were also very strong. The photos show very drastic color change, although if you look far into the back 6 out of 9 photos show the shadow of the light in the background. It is very important to notice what is in the background of your photos, along the way a photo appears where the light itself actually peaks from behind the bottom. There was also some noise in your photos, they were focused but the camera was not stable. Contrast shows great variety in light direction as well as distinguishes the difference in the filler and key light. The light sources complement each other very well. The shadow variation in your hardness photographs is also very broad. Showing the softest shadow all the way to the hardest shadow. Way to go balancing the bottles upside down, although they aren't the subject very groovy!
